The Joint Stock Company "Tashkent Invest Company" was established upon the founding of the Tashkent City Hokimiyat in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 26, 2023, No. UP-112 "On measures for socio-economic development of Tashkent city until 2030".

It is established that the Company's charter capital is formed in stages in the amount of 1 trillion sums from additional sources of the Tashkent city budget based on decisions of the Council of People's Deputies of the city of Tashkent and other funds not prohibited by legislation; issues of creating and financing the Company's project offices in separate directions are determined by its Supervisory Board.

The purpose of the Company's activities is that the Company performs the tasks of a "bridge" between the state and business entities and aims to assist in the development of the capital's infrastructure.

The main directions of the company's work are:
– Analysis of the condition of municipal assets, identification of available resources and opportunities to increase the efficiency of their use, as well as development of relevant proposals for their effective use;
– Management of municipal assets, implementation of public-private partnership projects on their basis, including as a state partner, as well as monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of such projects;
– Increasing the investment attractiveness of municipal property, implementing investment projects on their basis, including attracting private investors;
– Participation in financing promising projects of business entities related to the development of Tashkent city infrastructure, based on their financial attractiveness and efficiency;
– Organization of development of programs for development and renovation of separate districts of Tashkent, master plan and project documentation of objects planned for construction and others;
– Coordination of construction and reconstruction works in Tashkent, as well as processes of connecting to infrastructure networks.

In accordance with paragraph 8 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 26, 2023, No. UP-112, in order to ensure openness of the Company's activities and accountability to the public, the following procedure is established:
The Company draws up financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and from 2025 annually until August 1 posts it on the official website of the Tashkent city hokimiyat after external audit in accordance with International Audit Standards by auditing companies included in the "big four";
from 2025, the Company's financial and non-financial reports, as well as commercial and non-commercial purposes regarding it are posted on the official website of the Tashkent city hokimiyat.
